Applications for short and medium-length films for the II CINEFESTIVAL – Vale do Jaguaribe International Film Festival are open until February 5th. Filmmakers from Brazil and abroad who have films completed from 2013 onwards, of all genres and shooting formats, can apply, as long as they have a projection copy in Mov format. H264 and maximum duration of up to 25 minutes, including credits. Those selected compete for the Araibu Trophy in the following categories: Best Brazilian Film, Best Foreign Film, Best Cearense Production, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Photography, Best Art, Best Editing, Best Sound and Best Soundtrack.

The Festival is a project approved in the Edital Ceará de Cinema and Video 2014 and takes place in the city of Russas (CE), from 25 to 28 March 2015.
