DEBERTON FILMES is a film, theater and festival producer, headquartered in Fortaleza/CE.
He produced the award-winning “Doce de Coco” (State of Ceará, 2010), “O Melhor Amigo” (2013) and “Os Olhos de Arthur” (2016), which together participated in more than 100 national and international festivals and won 45 awards.
Since 2013, he has been producing, together with director André Gress, the project “Broadway Brasil”, in partnership with Broadway Dreams Foundation (USA).
In 2015, he produced the first Broadway musical in Ceará, “Avenida Q” (Avenue Q), sponsored by Correios.
In the same year, he produced the feature documentary “Do Outra Lado do Atântico”, by Márcio Câmara and Daniele Ellery, which premiered at the Havana Film Festival.
In 2017, he produced for the EBC the TV series “Lana & Carol”, by Samuel Brasileiro and Natalia Maia; the feature “Se Arrependimento Matasse”, by Lília Moema; produced the show “A Hora da Estrela – O Musical”, based on the work of Clarice Lispector, sponsored by CAIXA.
In 2018, he produced the short film “Aqueles Dois”, by Émerson Maranhão, which continues his career in several festivals, and also produced the telefilm “Baião de Dois”, by Allan Deberton and André Araújo, in co-production with Globo Filmes.
In 2019, he released the feature “Pacarrete”, by Allan Deberton, at the grandiose 22th Shanghai International Film Festival, competing at the Golden Goblet Awards. In Brazil, the film was awarded the prize at the 47th Gramado Film Festival, awarded with 8 Kikitos including Best Film and Best Direction.
It has licensed projects for Channels Whoohoo!, SescTv, Canal Brasil, Canal Curta, Porta Curta, Petrobras, Now, Looke and Walmart, in Brazil; TLA Video (which includes Home Video), Amazon and Dekkoo, in the United States; Canal Nós (Portugal) and Outplay in Europe.
He is currently developing new projects: “O Melhor Amigo”, “Feito Pipa” and “Marcélia”.
