Director Allan Deberton, from the award-winning Doce de Coco (2010) and O Melhor Friend (2013), invites actors and actresses who preferably reside in the state of Ceará to participate in the casting of his new short film “Os Olhos de Arthur ”, whose filming is scheduled for September this year. The film is about love and generational conflict, with the main character Arthur, an autistic young man, during a swimming lesson.
“I’m looking for actors/actresses who bring me the truth on stage. I want to find lightness, simplicity, actors and actresses that make me believe that the story is real, because it is real. My new film depends on a number of factors, including the perfect cast” comments the director.
Actors and actresses between 18 and 50 years old who are familiar with water will be able to participate, as the entire film will take place in a swimming pool.

– two photos, one of the face and the other full body;
– artistic curriculum;
– Vimeo/youtube link with scenes from previous work.
The candidate must also inform if he/she has already attended swimming and/or hydrogymnastic classes.
Applications are open until May 30, 2015. Those selected will be invited to a face-to-face test on a date to be defined.
